Eclectic. If I had to describe myself in one word that would be it. A bit more elaborate: a versatile and creative communications & content specialist with a passion for sports, traveling, music and movies.

EXPERIENCE

2010 - current

Formule 1 magazine (New Skool Media)

CO-ORDINATOR

I manage the editorial team and make sure all content is delivered to the right sources, at the right time for publication. In addition, I contribute articles, select photographs and apply for accreditations. Personally, I have covered over fifty races worldwide, gaining experience in handling media and interviewing athletes and management staff. Just like Formula 1 itself the magazine Formule 1 has grown and changed rapidly and I have adapted and developed to meet this need. In addition to writing articles, I learned skills to redesign the lay-out and complemented this by developing a new, successful social media outreach strategy.

2012 - 2016

Nederlandse Curling Bond

SECRETARY AND COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

I was responsible for the administrative tasks of the association and internal and external communications. I was in close contact with clubs, WCF, NOC*NSF, other partners and the media. I wrote press releases and newsletters and created content for website and social media. I hosted assemblies, made minutes and prepared official documents. By working together with a commercial marketing partner we were able to make a big step in professionalism and gain more awareness of the sport, helping us to recruit new members through outreach, clinics and tournaments. Since stepping down from this role, I continued to provide support and advice in a consultation role. I have recently rejoined as Communications Officer.

2005 - 2010

Móbile PR

EDITOR

On behalf of clients such as Jaguar, Peugeot, AutoRAI and local businesses I created content for various (corporate) print and online media. I wrote and translated articles, selected photographs, assembled newsletters and helped to organize events,
such as classic car rallies and skills competitions.
